2 Months

Two blog updates in one day, being a new mom really has me behind.  It seems like whenever I sit down, Dylan decides he doesn't want to nap or I decide I need to nap instead of getting pictures together on the computer!  Dylan is doing great.  He is 2 months and one week old now!  I cannot believe how fast thing time has gone.  I am going back to work in a week and a half.  I go back on the 29th which was a weird day but two meetings that I need to go to are scheduled for that day.  Grandma Scavnicar will be watching Dylan for the month of February.  This will be nice so I get to push off the daycare for one month.  I will be home working on most days so he will just be right upstairs if I miss him!  Hopefully I can concentrate on work and not on him.  My office is in the basement now so I think I should be ok.

Dylan is growing like a weed.  He had his 2 month well baby visit on Friday.  Shots made him cry but mommy had more tears than Dylan.  On the way home I have a pictures of him giving me the finger.  It was pretty funny.  No fever from the shots or anything so that was good.  He slept a little more than usual but not too much.  He is weighing in at 13lbs 7oz (90th percentile) and is 24 1/4 inches long (95th percentile).  He has been babbling and cooing more and more each day.  He loves to smile at us and has started to giggle just a bit.  He loves being naked or just in his diaper so today I got a little giggle out of him while I was dressing him for the day.  I have a feeling once he starts walking he will be running around in his diaper all day or running away w/o a diaper on!  Here are some pictures of our little man at 2 months!

Dylan's First Christmas

Dylan celebrated his first Christmas!  He made his first trip to Grandma's house in Algona.  He was a very good baby for the car ride.  He slept the entire way, only waking up to eat.  The bulldogs came along for the ride as well.  They rode together in a crate and slept most of the way too!  We were in Algona for a week.  He got to meet almost all of his family while we were there.  We did not get to see Santa Claus this year, we thought he was a little small to be making the trip to stand in line at the mall.  We had a great trip and hope all our trips are as easy as this one.  Dylan started showing off his beautiful smile just before we left so the family in Algona got to see this smile as well.  Here are some pictures from Dylan's first Christmas.
