11 Weeks

So let's scratch what I said on my last post about feeling good most of the time. Sunday was a doozie, I felt like I had drank a bottle of tequila (not that I have ever done that before) but I imagine that that is how I would feel the next day. I haven't had to run out of any meetings or training sessions at work, which is good. Baby Scavnicar has already been to Georgia, Colorado, Iowa, and Ohio. Quite the little traveler I would say. We will also be braving a road trip to D.C. in May which should be a very interesting car ride since I have to frequent the restroom on an almost hourly basis. Dennis will probably get a little bit annoyed and refuse me any type of beverage for the 10 hour car ride! I am very excited to see D.C. since I have not been there before. Should be fun!

We are also going to be adding a new puppy to the family at the end of May. I don't know what I am exactly thinking, I might have gone a little nutso, wanting to chase a little puppy around but I feel like I would rather get a puppy before the baby is here, not after. Here is a little picture of our new little boy. He is very young so I'm sure he'll be lots different when we get him.
We are also going to be doing some home renovations before the baby comes. We are going to have hardwood floors installed throughout the house, so that will be very nice. We already have them in the kitchen/dining room so I am very excited to get rid of our carpet!
I hope you all are doing well.

SUPRISE!

Hi Everyone,
I am stealing Amy and Nick's idea b/c I thought it was such a good way to communicate throughout the pregnancy! Yes, officially, we are having a baby! A few of you have known for a little while, but I am officially coming out of the pregnancy closet! My mother has gotten to okay to tell people, so I'm sure half of Algona knows by now (kidding mom:)I am currently about 10 weeks along, so still pretty early. I had my first ultrasound on Monday. Poor Dennis missed out b/c of the Cubs opener (although I think he was miserable, cold/rainy) but at least they won! For those who will ask, no, we were not planning this, but we welcome our little "surprise"! I am feeling okay, there are bouts of nausea and the part that comes with it, but all in all I can't complain too much. I am very hungry, especially in the morning, it is ridiculous! Baby Scavnicar is due on November 11th. So we are calling "him" our little turkey, although right now, looks like a peanut! Hopefully I will be a good little blogger and keep up with this, so check back on our baby progress. Love-Angie, Dennis, & Baby
